Story mode[]
In this game, Dr.Bad boon returns and threatens to turn all of the bananas rubbery, hence the name. If AiAi and his friends doesn't find him and take him down within 5 days, all of the bananas will turn rubbery. Of course, AiAi won't let that happen and he must complete Dr.bad boons labyrinth again, only this time, this stages are even harder!
Challenge mode[]
Of course, No Monkey Ball game would be complete without a challenge mode. This version of challenge mode has 25 Beginner stages Plus 5 extra stages, 60 Advanced stages plus 10 extra stages, 90 Expert stages plus 20 extra stages and 15 Master stages plus 5 extra stages.
There is also a ultimate difficulty level which is beginner, advanced expert and master combined.
